Anunciado a lista dos indicados ao Emmy 2014, evento de premiação mais importante da TV mundial. A cerimônia acontece no dia 25 de agosto e será apresentada por Seth Meyers. No Brasil, a cerimônia de entrega de premiação será transmitida ao vivo pelo canal Warner.

A lista de indicados foi apresentada pela atriz e roteirista Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project) e pelo apresentador Carson Daly (The Voice). Game of Thrones lidera a lista de indicados, com 19 indicações, seguido por Fargo (18), American Horror Story (17), Breaking Bad (16) e The Normal Heart (16). 

Breaking Bad está concorrendo esse ano novamente por sua quinta e última temporada, porém, foram considerados os oito episódios finais. O Emmy considera e avalia os episódios exibidos no ano e não avalia temporadas, por isso Breaking Bad, que venceu a categoria mais importante no ano passado, segue elegível para esse ano.
